幾週前芝城一好友剛生下一個男寶寶的隔天，我就興沖沖地跑去醫院探望她跟北鼻~ 這家醫院也是我未來生寶寶時的醫院。離我家超級近，走路五到十分鐘就到了。3年前(2007)新開幕(從舊大樓遷移至新大樓)。裡面所有的產房都是一人一間的，剛好座落在密西根湖畔，窗外的VIEW很棒，像級了五星級旅館！

窗戶外可以看到湛藍的湖水和湖上馳騁的帆船~

單人房室內空間超大，旁邊還有小床給先生睡。全套原木色的設計，給人很溫暖舒適的感覺。

小寶寶床直接就放在媽媽的床旁，從出生後大部份時間寶寶都是放在媽媽床旁)，寶寶床的抽屜裡還有醫院準備的免費小尿片！(我朋友說她兩胎都暗扛了一堆回家~ :))

還有液晶螢幕的電視，24小時可隨選自己喜歡的頻道或是電影，還有哺乳教學可以看。

廁所裡還有準備像飯店一樣的大小浴巾~

樓下大廳也很氣派

我在網路上找到的醫院介紹: (Prentice Women's Hospital 附屬於芝加哥西北大學醫院)

• 328 licensed beds, including obstetrics, GYN and GYN/oncology, breast and plastic surgery, hematology/oncology and neonatal intensive care unit. (共有328張床位)
• With capacity for 13,600 deliveries per year, Prentice Women’s Hospital will continue to be the largest birthing center in both Illinois and the Midwest and is poised to be among the top five birthing centers in the nation by volume of births. (每年可接生將近一萬三千多個寶寶，是美國全國名列前五大的生產中心！也是美國中西部最大的生產中心！)
• The Renée Schine Crown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will expand to accommodate 86 Level III bassinettes for critically ill newborns, making it one of the largest NICU’s in the country. (擁有全美最大的新生兒急救中心)
• Prentice is also home to the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center, the largest comprehensive breast center in the Midwest.
