第三天從Tikal回到Guatemala city已經傍晚了。由於瓜地馬拉首都的治安不是很好,我們不敢在這停留太久,只訂了一晚的旅館,準備隔天一早就啟程去Chichicastenango。
從Tikal的熱帶叢林回到瓜地馬拉市,有股回到文明世界的感覺,五星級的Hotel也舒適多了。今晚旅館不用錢,因為是用老公出差住旅館所累積的點數。

晚上街上到處都是拿長槍的警察,我們不敢走太遠,就到旅館對面的一家挺有名的餐館吃晚飯
餐廳叫作Kacao, 它的傳統瓜地馬拉料理特有名,餐廳的裝潢氣氛也很優
Frommer's Review: This elegant restaurant is the place to come for traditional Guatemalan cooking prepared and presented with style and flare. Various regional specialties include pepian, chicken in a pumpkin seed and tomato sauce from the Western Highlands, and tapado, spicy Caribbean seafood soup in coconut milk. The silky black-bean soup is finished off in a clay bowl and baked in the oven. There are a host of steak, poultry, and seafood options. For dessert, try the fried apple rings served with a vanilla-rum sauce. The restaurant decor is as traditional as the menu. Waiters wear traditional Maya garb, and the tablecloths are old huipiles.
 


餐點也不錯,我倆點的都是燉雞類的東東。一個的比較咖哩口味,另一個番茄口味比較重


甜點是一種麵包泡在有肉桂味道的甜汁裡,也是很傳統的料理,我們後來在local的市集裡有看到小販在賣
